1. Jake will graduate in April and start a new job! We will then be able to see each other more often than just the weekends. And I will finally be able to quit work! Yay! I love the NICU, but since I have my own baby now, it's just not as much fun to take care of other people's babies. I know I will miss it, but definitely NOT the night shifts.
2. We have a yard that we can do yard work on! I hated yard work when I was young, but now it seems like so much fun! I planted some tulip bulbs last September when we were waiting for Mazee to come and they're starting to pop up. I've never been so excited about flowers before!
3. Like I mentioned before, Mazee and I have been couped inside all winter and I feel like I have every square inch of my house memorized, it's making me crazy! We're ready to slip on our capri's and flip flops and play in the sun. Especially since I haven't had a good dose of UV rays for over a year with pregnancy and all. I dare say I'm ready for a sunburn!
4. Spring haircuts are the best! My friend, Steph Harrell Sumsion, did an awesome job with my hair! I was so nervous cutting off 10+ inches, but I absolutely love it! It's so nice to not have Mazee pulling on it! I've been meaning to post pictures sooner, but everytime I think to take a picture, Jake's already off to school or work. So this picture doesn't do Steph's work justice, it was the end of the day and had no more spunk. But you get the basic idea...
4. Spring/Summer shopping! I love it! I'm going on a big shopping spree because our wardrobes are really lacking. Any money we would've spent on our own wardrobes has gone to Mazee's wardrobe, which is now out of control. So... I WILL be getting Jake some plaid shorts from American Eagle and he WILL wear them whether he likes it or not. Because plaid is hot!
Needless to say, we are officially boycotting winter and snow, and welcoming spring with open arms!!!

Mel, i know what you mean about spring weather. i can't help but take my boys out for walks even though it is a little windy. We should go on walks together.
I hear you on the weather complaints. Laney and I are dying too. You guys are too cute and I can't believe Mazee is so big. She just looks like such a fun baby. I'm so jealous you guys get to be a real job couple! No more school, I feel like I will never see that day!!!
